May I know if my understanding is correct for the following?
1. The virtual room seems like to be a set of rooms.Say the virtual room contains Room A , B, C and D.  When a virtual room is applied for a period, one of the rooms (May be Room A) in the virtual room is used but the other rooms (Room B , C and D in this case) in the virtual room is free.

I am looking for a solution of some situation but I need to have a better understanding of the above first. thank you.

I don't know if I am outdated or overlooked. If there is no such constraints mentioned below , may I suggest it.

Some time we may not want the students to move so far away even when the rooms are in the same building. I limited the choices of rooms of activities by manually .ark a set of suitable rooms in the space constraints. The choices are highly based on the distance between rooms but it may be difficult for the users to mention the distance in many ways in the program.
What if we introduce a coordinate system for the rooms so that the program can calculate the horizontal and vertical distance between rooms? And thus set the space constraints based on the calculated distances?

I don't know if this is a practical idea.

To provide a custom name field for constraints a
Or to provide an id for constraints.

Benefits: easier to prepare documents for boss or colleagues for the explanation purpose and maintenance purpose.

Trouble: need to redesign the form Windows and many other parts. Maybe, I don't know.

I cannot find any documents about the command line version of FET.
I tried to use the "fet --help" to get some text information but I think it would be better if there are some examples.
Maybe I didn't find the correct path of the document.

I imported the being-tanslated file to Excel and I think I can output the .ts file but not the .qm file.
Would this tranlated file be accepted?

The FET is great.
The output is a set of HTML files.
The pro is it's universal.
The cons is you may want excel format.
While you can you the conversion tool to make the fet output to an excel file, the sub groups are shown in seperated worksheets.

So how do you polish your output timetable(s)?
1. Try to modify the xml/css
2. Ask assistant(s) to type it again.
3. Use the screen capture in the preview in the app. (which sometimes looks better indeed.)
4. output csv -> use marco to convert.

I have been using FET for few years. It's a great app.
