olá,  desculpe  por não ter dado nenhuma resposta,  mas meu linux deu problemas e meu  tempo também,  se não houver problemas agora em fevereiro de 2010, volto a ajudar  na tradução em pt-br.

Would you agree to let Frank be the official translator? Because it is a long time since you announced your intention, and Frank may do the translation faster.

Bruns said he will let Frank do the translation, so Frank Mártin is the official pt_BR translator.

Recapitulation: test666 is currently the European Portuguese translator (but he seems not to be present anymore), and Frank Mártin is currently the Brazilian Portuguese translator.

when you read "Ano" (english is "year") can I change to "Turma"?

Ex: "Ano 311" change it to "Turma 311".

a) if you want to change it very quickly yourself in that document only:
open it with an editor (like notepad++; but also Windows Editor should work) and just use the "replace" option

b) if you want to do it in your FET version:
open it with QLinguist (see desription for translators) and change it. it is in the "timetableexport" dialog.

I saidly can't speak your language. I just checked the dictionary and saw that both words are allowed. I fear a bit the prefered word is depending on the school and/or area.
In my opinion it is "bad" to change the word only in that form. That word is used many times at many different places in FET. It should be always the same. So in my opinion the natives speakers should talk to each other and arrange about the best translation and always use that same translation in every place.

Tua dúvida é a mesma que tive, quando tomei a tradução do FET para o português. Ela já tinha sido iniciada assim além haver termos que não são fáceis de traduzir para a realidade de diferentes países e regiões.
Particularmente, faço o que Volker Dirr sugeriu (usar o recurso de "localizar/substituir" em algum editor HTML ou mesmo editor de texto simples).
A cada versão do FET, sinto-me tentado a usar "Turma" em vez de "Ano", por outro lado, há escolas com outras realidades. Por exemplo, em um grupo de escolas que conheço a trabalhar turmas são divididas em "subturmas", que continuam sendo chamadas de turmas, o que geraria confusão na interface do programa. Por outro lado, tua pergunta poderia ser tomada como um voto para trocarmos essa palavra no programa, concordas?

Its a easy way, but here the time table change every week

open it with QLinguist (see desription for translators) and change it. it is in the "timetableexport" dialog.

I try it, but cant save the change (I cant found where to save it). I will try more. Thank you.

Como falei acima (ou tentei, meu inglês é ruim), o horário da escola onde trabalho muda praticamente toda semana. São três turnos e mudar manualmente toda semana me ocuparia algum tempo, se eu pudesse mudar isso no arquivo de tradução, ficaria bem melhor. Vou tentar mais um pouco. Numa próxima versão, se eu puder sugerir algo, não seria possível uma opção em "dados básicos" em que o usuário escolheria os melhores termos pra alguns itens?

Open fet_pt_BR.ts with Qt Linguist, modify, save, release it from Qt Linguist as fet_pt_BR.qm, save both files overwriting the old files. Then restart FET.
