Yes, Key=Activity Tag (because in italian "Tag" was translated to "Chiave" which I translated back to "key").

Una volta generato l'orario occorre bloccare le attività in modo da ottenere nelle finestre dell'orario la stringa OB AB (ora bloccata, aula bloccata). Poi, manualmente, ti segni i numeri ID delle subattività che vuoi spostare e di cui hai già individuato la posizione di destinazione, infine vai a modificare il vincolo di tempo "una subattività ha un ora di inizio preferenziale" associato all'ID di tale subattività che, di fatto, te la sposta.
L'ideale sarebbe poter fare questa operazione nelle celle delle finestre orario generato ma quelle finestre sono solo per visualizzare e non per modificare alcune proprietà delle subattività. In aggiunta, se questa operazione fosse possibile, FET potrebbe addirittura dirti contro quali vincoli va a scontrarsi lo spostamento che stai facendo aiutandoti notevolmente nelle modifiche manuali. E' una richiesta che avevo fatto tempo addietro all'autore ma evidentemente è troppo complicata.

io uso una macro di excel fatta da un mio collega ma i docenti sono sulle righe e i tempi sulle colonne.

Version 5.30.5 doesn't work on Mac OS X Lion (10.7.5) so,  I compiled myself with Qt 5.6.1 with success.
If you want my compiled version to test on your system tell me.

Just my timetable...

I was using Mac version 5.30.3 but I cannot reproduce the crash with Liviu timetable and the new version 5.30.5 because it doesn't match my condition.

(2): It has to be the last activity? Remove the whole, or just modify the duration from 1 to 2 in the first component?
Remove the whole because I need to split the first subactivity from 2 to 1+1 and further bind one hour to another teacher.

(3): What means append? Same starting time? Two activities consecutive?

(4) What does not exist? The activity? How to unlock, if the whole timetable is unlocked? When you remove an activity, FET removes all constraints relating to that activity.
No, for a strange reason two constraints for the deleted activity were not removed, so I found them and deleted but after two tries of generation FET crashed.

Substantially I wish to change from LT to PLT (and vice-versa) for some or all the selected cells.

In the view timetable, you can see LT or PLT for locked time (permanently locked time) activities. Also LS or PLS for space.

Yes, but I can only view the permanent lock; i cannot set it to freeze a partial timetable instance.

I got this crash:
Step to reproduce:
1) Generate a timetable.
2) Delete an activity 2+1+1 and replace it with 1+1+1+1
3) Set a constraint to append one of above subactivity to another already placed in timetable
4) Unlock time and room of the deleted activity (which doesn't exist)
6) Regenerate the timetable and wait Fet places the replaced activity
7 Fet Crashes

Hi Liviu,

is it possible to add a lock/unlock menu for all activities placed in a specific building and a lock/unlock menu for all activities with a specific key?
This can speed up manual adjustment when a timetable is generated and, virtually, can speed up the locks for any activities aggregation.

So, I have the same problem: Timetable generated in foreground: 17sec; in the background: 1sec.
Is it a patch for Mac Os X El Capitan?

I noticed this strange behaviour:
Imagine you started a multi timetable generation which was ended correctly with some results. You went to timetable tab and saw the last that was in memory.
So, now, you decide to make some or all locks and try generation again in single mode: FET answer with 0 activities locked, also answer with 0 activities unlocked... this happens unless you start a single generation.
I think, in this case, it would be nice if FET should be able to load an already generated timetable from its "multi-folder" and show in its interface without a new generation. So, the software can be directed to  a multi file management.
Also it would be nice if wa can see a checkbox that permanent locks some or all cells.

Darren McDonald published a recent FET version compiled for MacOS X. Look at Liviu's site homepage.

I often compiled myself FET source for MacOS but the result app lacks the translation folder. So you need to open the package and place under fet.app/Contents/MacOS
The zip package published also lacks this functionality. For the next version, please, include this change so anyone don't need to make it.
