Hi hirama, sorry for the wait!

The easiest way to run FET on High Sierra would be to compile FET yourself (instructions can be found here). The main issue is that newer versions of Xcode don't produce software compatible with older operating systems, so by using the latest version of Xcode compatible with High Sierra, you'll be able to compile the latest version of FET that will run on your computer.

I do have some older versions of FET available, and some of them may be compatible with High Sierra. Links are below.

In that case I think hirama will need to compile FET, in which case hirama will need to download XCode version 10.1 (I believe), which can be downloaded here.

hirama will need to use Qt 5 (probably easiest to use is Qt-5.15.2). See here: https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/macos.html
