hello again. I'm sorry to bother you again but I have a question about rooms.
The PE teachers have2 rooms where classes can be given: outdoors and gym.

these teachers don't want more than 2 classes of PE simultaneous, because they don't want 2 groups sharing outdoors or gym.

I have solved this by adding a room constraint to subject PE preferred rooms: gym and outdoors with a 100% weight.

This has worked, because I only get 2 classes of PE simultaneously, one in the gym and one outdoors.

Now these teachers want the following: each group has 2 hours a week of PE, and they want that each group has one class in the gym and one class outdoors.

OK, so here comesmy question. Can I do this with a constraint or should I do it by hand when I get a definitive timetable? Last year I did it by hand, giving room constraint to those activities.

Is the question clear or I messed u everything? Thank you

//Edited to add:

is it possible to add a space constraint for a group and a tag? for xample, I'd like tecnology classes of 1st and 2nd year go to classroom TECNO1, and tecnology classes of 3rd and 4th year go to classroom TECNO2.

Is this possible and i am missing something? is it impossible? Thanks

I am not sure I understand correctly, but why can't you add rooms constraints? Maybe use subject+activity tag constraints

You don't have constraint for group+tag. Maybe you can add just for a tag (add more tags to express what you need). You can edit sub-activities. You can add more tags for an activity.

---- The problem is that I have to do it by hand. These PE classes are 2 hours a week for each group. 2 activities in different days with subject PE, but I should give a different tag to each of those subactivities. this would be the same as doing it by hand. I guess there's no other way to do it.

OK, I gave 2 years the tag Tecno and the other two years the tag Tec. It will look a bit strange in the HTML file, but the problem is solved. Thanks  ;)

Yes, there is some work to do. Did you know that you can edit sub-activities separately? There is a menu under activities menu. This is simpler I think than adding preferred room constraints.

ok, I'll take a look at that, thank you  :)
