Hello,
I don't know how difficult or how stupid this will be to implement. The thing is that the timetables for my school are enormous (very wide) because they sometimes involve 5 different groups at the same time with 5 different teachers.

If I could hide the group (1-batx-1, 1-batx-2...1-batx-5) and the subject name or activity tag, I could get something smaller. Did I make myself clear? Is this suggestion very stupid?

It's like the -X- that we can show or hide now.

//Edited to add: when i say groups, I mean self generated subgroups. FET doesn't show the group name, but it shows the subgroup, if it is used.

I saw the students' structure you used for the sample Spanish. I don't like it. You could have made year 1, year 2, year 3, year 4, which contain some groups, containing subgroups. If you want to make an activity for all subgroups in a group, better use the group than all the subgroups. You can also define groups just for this purpose, so for instance: group G1 (subgroups S1, S2, S3, S4) and group G2 (S1, S3).

It is possible to hide group and subject and activity tag. Please see the generated css file (in results directory, next to the html-s and xml-s and conflicts.txt). Edit it like needed. Volker can help you better here, let's wait for his answer.

Thanks for your answer. I have modified last year's structure following the suggestions you made me last year. Now I have year 1 with subgroups A B C I3. When I do optional subjects (all students are there but remixed and doing different subjects) I have 1-1 doing a subject with a teacher, 1-2 another subject with another teacher. This way I can get rooms for each activity. If I put the 3 1st year groups with the 4 teachers I get a smaller timetable but I get no rooms. You know about my battle with rooms, dont you?  :o ;D
