Title: Size of message box too big?
Post by: Liviu Lalescu on March 22, 2010, 04:02:33 PM
Hello!

In the advanced menu, if you click enable students min hours daily with allow empty days, you get a confirmation warning message box. Please tell me, this message is too large, or is it OK? Maybe some users have difficulties with this too large message?

(the message is: "This kind of constraint is good, but only in the right case. Adding such constraints in the wrong circumstance may make your timetable solve too slow or even impossible.

Please use such constraints only if you are sure that there exists a timetable with empty days for students. If your instution requires each day for the students to be not empty, or if there does not exist a solution with empty days for students, it is IMPERATIVE (for performance reasons) that you use the standard constraint which does not allow empty days. Otherwise, the timetable may be impossible to find.

Continue only if you know what you are doing.").
