Is it possible to change the order followed by FET when it generates a timetable ? I have a trouble with a teacher who has a lot of activities with the same class and I'd like to generate his timetable for first because otherwise FET doesn't close the timetable.
You can do that if you change the FET code.
Another possibility, easier: FET will schedule firstly the fixed activities. So, you can fix the activities of this teacher and generate.

2. when you write "fixed" you mean ....

With newer FET, you can do this from the program. Unlock "Enable group activities in initial order", then add such some "group activities in the initial order" items. You can read the Help there for instructions.
If you still want the answer to the previous questions:
1. src/engine/generate_pre.cpp.
2. with a constraint activity preferred starting time attached to the activity.
i think it will be easier if you do:
fet -> advanced -> group activities in the initial order
then select all activities of that teacher
