Title: Multiple users
Post by: margretk12 on August 28, 2014, 02:14:17 PM
Hi my name is Margret and I'm a student in Reykjavik University, I'm working on a final project that is about replacing the current timetable system in the university (the current system is nothing, they use excel). Is it possible to use FET for many departments in an university, where each department makes there schedules and each of them will be able to somehow know what other departments have booked. That is one department won't be able to book a room that has already been booked. Hope I'm explaining this right :)

Thanks in advance,

Margret

I think this is not directly possible. Either:

- each department makes its schedule and transmits the unavailability to the next department, to be input in the data,or

- you do the whole timetable for the entire university.
