I'm new of this forum and in general of FET. I think it is a great open source project for arranging timetable. I used FET in order to generate the timetable for the teachers of my school, then I manually modified the output file .xls generated from FET by adapting it to custom preferencies of teachers. Now I would like to recover the timetable for the students starting from .xls file, since the original .fet file has not been updated with latest modifications. Is it possible? Otherwise is there a code which is able to do this? Or have to I write it?

I am sorry, but I do not understand well. You can input preferences of the teachers before generating the timetable. Otherwise, you need to input the time of the modified activities into FET.

Ok, I'm sorry if I'm not explained very well. So, I used FET in order to generate the timetable for the teachers. Therefore, FET produced an xls file as output with teachers in rows and day and hours in columns. Instead of manually modifying the FET file to adjust the preferences of the teachers, I modified directly the xls file and so the .fet file is not up to date. Instead of correcting the .fet with latest changes, I wonder to know if exists a software that starting from an xls file is able to extract the timetable for the student (organized per class).

But I wonder why you don't input all time constraints before generating and generate once and for all from FET, so that the final timetable will be good for teachers.
