Title: Skolaris.net
Post by: dashmug on December 05, 2015, 12:19:19 PM
I think http://skolaris.net/#home is using FET behind the scenes. The terminology used is very, very similar to what FET uses. Just sharing it here.

hmm.. there are a lot of similar constraints. that is correct.
difficult to say if they used fet source without seeing the source nor the generator. i can't test generating a timetable, i can view only a generated one and the interface.

but i also don't worry to much (at the moment) about that. the interface is very slow and it broke several times while i was looking a bit on it. so pretty unstable at the moment.
i will check in a few weeks again. i hope (or not - i am not sure :-) ) the interface will be stable in a few weeks.
there is also data privacy problems with that software, because you upload the data, so i bet they will never get (many) customers.

I don't think Skolaris uses FET behind the scene. They have constraints which are not in FET: teacher/students set max gap length, and I don't know how to add this constraint in FET efficiently.
