Title: How can we balance the activities daily 'payload'?
Post by: zipman on January 20, 2016, 05:16:39 PM
What would be a recommended approach to balance the daily 'payload' for the students?
I mean, given some activities are more demanding than others, how can I distribute them more evenly so all/most days are relatively balanced?

More specifically:
- say we have activities like math, physics, chemistry which are "hard", biology, history, geography which are "medium" and culture, sports, music which are "easy" (should we use tags to group them?)
- what would be a recommended approach to balance the activities so every day has, say, 2 "hard" + 2 "medium" + 2 "easy" activities?

I'm not looking for a solution as strict as in my example, with 2 activities of each group every day, but for a way to ensure I don't get days with "hard" activities only and then another day with "easy"  activities only.

Thanks

Yes, add activity tags for them (hard, medium, easy) and use constraint students (set) activity tag max hours daily (unlock it and neglect the warnings).

You can even add max 3 hard per day 100% and max 2 hard per day 90% (two constraints working together).

Please let me know.
