Hello,
it's the first time i write in this forum.
Fet has some difficulties in generate the timetable. I'd like to know which are the most significant info to see to understand where is the bottleneck and how to use them (view current timetable and impossible activities, view highest stage timetable, view difficult activities .... i see different info and i don't find the solution).
Thank you.
Guido.
I am not sure I understand correctly. All this information should be useful; you need to understand a bit the information that FET gives by working with it.
Hello,
i red the Fet documentation Version 0.7c, but i don't find explanations about the informations at the "generate" level, so i can not do troubleshooting on my timetable. I think in general this doc is too difficult for a beginner.
Thank you.
Guido.
Maybe you can read Tom Hostys manual. That manual is "more" for beginner.
see:

Thank you Volker,
i'm reading Tom Hostys manual and it's more friendly for me.
Best regards,
Guido.
Hello Volker and Liviu,
i red the basic manual and i found it useful, but i'm still searching about detailed explanations (perhaps more examples, differencies, how the info are expressed ...) about the indicators at the "generate" level:
1. view current timetable and impossible activities,
2. view highest stage timetable,
3. view difficult activities ....
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance,
Guido.

Stop and view impossible activities: you can see the first activity which cannot be placed, and the activities which were placed.
Stop and view current/highest stage timetable: you can view the partial timetable in the FET interface or on the disk, in the fet-results directory.
These information can help.
I can write some more, after you try these, just ask.
