Title: Problem with subgroups
Post by: tomakl on February 18, 2016, 08:51:44 PM
Hello
I'm very new here so I want to say hello. I have a question. In my school is like this:
1. We have a class 1b. This class on some subject is divided by 2 (always is the same)
2. This class is going in this configuration for 3 subjects.
3. It is impossible that subgroup A is on the same hour on diffrent subjects.

How to avoid such a situations?

I think that you can divide the year 1 automatically by 4 categories: category1: a, b, c, etc., category 2: subject 1, category 3: subject 2, category 4: subject 3.

Or maybe you can choose not to divide by categories subjects, and add together all students and all teachers for that category.

Maybe Volker can explain better. Also, maybe you can give me more details, if I did not understand correctly your problem.

Maybe try again:

Class IIB is divided for groups:
inf_2b_2 and inf_2b_1
ang_2b_2 and ang_2b_1

in all groups "2b_1" i have students from class IIB from number 1-13
in all groups "2b_2" i have students from class IIB from number 14-26

It is possible on timetable to be situation that on monday on first lesson will have "inf_2b_2" and "ang_2b_1" of course with diffrent teachers but i want to avoid situation "inf_2b_2" and "ang_2b_2" on the same lesson with diffrent teacher.

I initially thought as in the attachment. In my attachment, it is not allowed for group "y inf 1" to have activities at the same time as group "y ang 1" or "y ang 2", because they share subgroups.

But I think you want something else. Maybe you need to use constraint activities not overlapping (and not use automatic division of years by categories).

Overlapping works great. Thanks.
