Title: newbie question
Post by: MaLo on August 29, 2009, 11:22:09 PM
Hi,

actually i don't whether my problem is solvable by fet but maybe it is and i cant find the solution in the manual.

I need a timetable where i don't need to assing a certain teacher to a course.

So lets say, there are two teachers and two courses. Teacher A will teach some courses + german without sports. Teacher B will teach the same courses without german but with sports. So A will teach every course in class A but without sports. Furthermore he will teach german in class B. The otherway round B will teach sports in class A and every other course in class B.

Having two people like this i can easily define such a constraint but having several german teachers and several sports teachers i don't care who teaches in which class as long as every teacher teaches lets say 40 periods and every class gets two lessons of sports a week.

I hope you understand my problem and dont mind me not being a native english speaker ;)

thanks for your help

Malo

I think the answer is negative, you cannot make lesson planning in FET.

In FET you need to add for each activity the exact students set(s) and teacher(s).

You can try to make the course planning before (by hand or by some other tool) and input the data to FET.
