If any of your are wondering about FET number of downloads per day/month: only for homepage lalescu.ro there are usually over 2000 downloads per month for the Windows exe, the sources (tar.bz2) being downloaded about 300 per month. Per day, about 75 downloads for Windows exe. For mirror timetabling.de, the figures are lower, I am not sure about the numbers.
Also, there are many external mirrors, like download.com and sourceforge.net.
I am not sure about the number of new users each month, maybe many are just upgrading.
Also, there are some persons using the setting of automatically searching for updates - maybe about 10 persons per day use this facility.
The downloads are very high in this month. About 150 per day only for exe on lalescu.ro.
Downloads are also high on my mirror. The exe file was downloaded 869 times in the last 5 days (so ~170 downloads per day). The source was downloaded only 323 times in the last 5 days (so ~65 downloads per day).
I can't say anything about people downloading FET, but I find guests looking at my web pages to be a number about 4 or 5 times as usual.

More, it' noticeable that I receive really a very low number of questions about FET. Near 1 or 2 per week. I hope that this means that people looking at Italian web pages, that was about 30, 40 per day on august and now is more then 200 per day, find the right informations to use FET in the documentation inside the zipped package and in my web site. No need of more support.
