Title: Days Between Activities
Post by: meganmassaro on May 05, 2017, 06:16:51 PM
Hi,

I need to make sure that certain activities don't happen on the same day. Is there anyway to do that?

Thanks,
Megan

FET -> Data -> time constraint -> activities -> min days between a set of activities

Hi again,

That doesn't seem to be working.

I have all related activities grouped together (all of a grade's humanities meetings, etc.). For instance, 5th grade humanities has three different types of meetings:
HumSciDoub (in which it splits with science for 2 periods at a time)
HumDoub (a Humanities double)
Hum (a Humanities single period).

Humanities single periods should be both in the same day, and not the same day as a HumDoub or HumSciDoub.

Thanks again.

You could add more constraints min days between activities. But this might be complicated in your case, because you might need to add a constraint for each pair of activities.

You might consider the constraint students/teachers activity tag max 2 hours daily, after adding a tag "Humanities" to those activities.

Hi Megan,

Did you sort out what you needed? Or do you still have questions?
