Hi, In our school, there are 9 lessons on 1 day. There is a break per each 3 lesson slot. There are 3 subactivities from different classes but need to be held on 3 consecutive lessons. They cannot be seperated by any break. The order can be ignored. How should I set?
I think there are two solutions:
1) Remove the break constraint and add for each teacher and students set a constraint not available where there is a real break. FET will not "see" these as breaks and will not allow the activities to span over them. Disadvantage: possibly many constraints to add.
2) A customization of FET made just for you.
Maybe you can use solution 3:
Remove the break hours. So remove that hours in FET -> Data -> Days and hours -> Hours per Week.

No, Volker, this is exactly what shekting wants to avoid.
See, thanks a lot. If I use method 1, but I have set all constraints of the Timetable, will it affect the constraints? Eg, I have set many constraints that activities prefer hour.
If you removed the break and in it's place used the "not available" constraint, I believe it will not affect your "prefer hour" constraints (only if you include or remove hours in the "Days and Hours" menu).
Yes, as Matsumoto says, it is the same if you use a constraint break or more constraints not available.
