Title: Customized printing template
Post by: pg788 on July 07, 2018, 06:29:51 PM
Hello

I need my timetable to look like the one in the attached document. Is it possible to change the format anywhere?

too many exceptions. will be difficult.

i suggest to write only "1" or maybe "Period 1" into FET.
Add a comment under/over each timetable, like:
MON, TUE, WED:
Period 1: 8.45-9.45      Period 2:...      Period 3:...

THU:
...

Or maybe even in a table grid.

Can I indicate the ECA and special assembly slots? Which option should I use to make the change?

ECA in 8th period: just use a normal activity.

Assembly break 10:45-11:00:
Several variants; all with different advantages/disadvantages:

First variant: Don't print it into the table, just write a comment below

Second variant: Add a FET hour between 2nd and 3th period. Add 5 activities with min n day 100% to that students. Add activity preferred time constraint for that slots. modify subactivities. give 3 of them the subject name "Assembly" and 2 of them the name "---". "---" is used to block the slots, so no other "normal" activities can be placed into that slots. Don't forget you need to do that for all students.

Third variant:
Maybe think about doing not 1 hour as FET hour. Maybe do only 30 minutes as a FET hour or maybe only 15 minutes as a FET hour. It's a bit more work to enter the data, but the table will look more like you want to have it. If you use 15 minutes FET periods (hour name) you can even care about the other special stuff and don't need to "comment" the table at all.
So foe example "II Ge(T)"  on Monday 6th period won't get 1 fet hour duarion anymore. It need 4 fet hours (4*15min=1h).
