Title: Discipline with short time
Post by: nuno on August 02, 2019, 06:28:02 AM
Hello There,
Is it possible to add a constrain for hours at our discipline? For example, Maths1 - 25 hours, maths2 35 hours, maths3 15 hours?
I'm trying to do it and I can't found it, do you have it already?

Hello,

I do not understand. Total hours per week? In FET you need to define the exact activities, so this is taken care by the user.

You might want to give an example.

Hello!
First of all, thank you for your software and for your quickly answer.
I have short duration disciplines, we have  packages of disciplines, that we have to start and end them at same time of others. For example, the Class A, have 20 hours of english 1 and at the same time Maths1 30 hours, French1 30 hours, and other. When we finish English 1, we can start English 2, at same time. Onde year we have 10 disciplines, but 50 pacs and all of them as I said with short duration each. Totally these kind of formation have 1200 hours per year. Sorry for this text it was made at a mobile phone, as I get home, if you don't understand, I Will try to send you a better example. Thank you in advance, Nuno

No problem, but I still don't understand.

FET is for a week's timetable. It seems you want a whole year's timetable, and it might not be possible. But if you show us some examples or details, we might understand better. Other people here on the forum might understand better.

Our system is by modules, themes are divided by themes that have a duration of 25 hours, for example. We have Portuguese with 6 modules, each with 25 hours, totaling 150 hours per year, which should be divided by 40 weeks, for example.
Is it possible to create a restriction on the number of hours of an activity or a subactivity?
For example, you have activity restrictions on time at a specific time.
Per week we give math, Portuguese, English, area and more. Students have up to 35 hours of classes per week. Having a total of math, for example, 200 hours a year, I could divide those 200 hours into 4 hours a week per class, and our math teacher has 6 classes totaling 24 hours a week. I think this will be easier to understand.

In FET you need to timetable only a single week.

You can add one large activity for each students set out of these 6, divided into 4 subactivities per week. 24 total subactivities, each with duration 1.
