Title: max/min hours all mornings/all afternoons
Post by: bachiri401 on November 14, 2019, 08:34:57 PM
hello Mr Liviu I wish you're fine
Everything is Ok for me
I enjoyed working using my last fet version
I just want to ask you a favour if you've got in the future
min / max hours afternoon / morning per whole week for teacher/ teachers
i.e fet will calculate the number of whole hours in the whole week

E.g.
a teacher works 20 hours the whole week
i want this teacher to work at least 14 hours in the mornings and no more than 6 hours the afternoons
SO here i need the constraint  : min hours per all mornings 14
and the constraint max hours per all afternoons 6
:) :)

I'm fine, thank you!  :)

You always have challenges!  :)

Min hours whole week morning hours is useless if you have max hours whole week afternoon hours.

And you have max hours whole week afternoon hours: activities occupy max time slots from selection, one constraint for each teacher.

Thank you for caring
yes you're right I only wanted to add a new suggestion it might be useful

last year I had 4 teachers with the constraint (max afternoon is 1) they asked for this strongly
i wanted to be fair with the other teachers i wanted all these four teachers to work the whole hours of their only afternoon but i did not mange to do
sometimes i have a timetable on which one or two them works only 2 hours out of 4
i wanted all of them to work 4 hours i couldn't
if i had the constraint min hours all afternoons  i would have put it at 4

Min is the inverse of max  :)  Use the constraint activities occupy max inversed.
