Title: Minimum number of lessons per lesson for 1 teacher
Post by: ngoctp29121982 on December 17, 2022, 09:41:22 AM
Minimum number of lessons per lesson for 1 teacher = 2
In my opinion FET improves this constraint away. How can it be done with teachers who are inactive.
For example: Teachers A,B,C,D,E..... only teach one class: 2=1+1 then the FET for these teachers runs randomly and constrains the response to those teachers. remaining

FET will also check that teacher.
You are right, it might be possible to automaticly skip that constraint.
On the other hand the currect variant is also nice, since you might have forgotten to add activities to the teachers or forgotten to delete him.

So far you need to add an dummy activity to that teacher. So just give him an activity with duration 2 without students. (which might be not the best variant if you use teacher home rooms, since FET will use a room then)

In morning-afternoon mode or let's say I have many teachers like that, adding a dummy activity will take a long time. The best solution is that the FET will still work for all teachers in this constraint.

I talked with @ngoctp29121982 on Facebook. It seems that what he intended to report was totally different. I give an example: teacher T has 11 activities (duration 1 each, and each on a separate half-day) with students S1 and 7 activities (same) with students S2, on a 24 half-days week. He wants a timetable with the maximum possible number of two hours daily for T. He just needed T max 11 days per week (half-days, in this case).
