Title: Index page
Post by: Wilfred on July 18, 2008, 12:46:51 AM
Since we created a timetable for a school and wanted to put the results on the web-site (why not use this nice html output features instead of prividing the school director with paper copies) and we found we needed an index. I created a simple index.php file that provided all we need right now which I'll attach to this subject. I also posted this as a request on sourceforge.net but originally attached the wrong index.php file, sorry for the confusion.

I think you need a file named filename_fet_index.html, to contain links to all timetables (26 files). I hope Volker will implement this soon and we'll release in 5.6.0

Hi!

Could you please try the latest snapshot? (see News on FET page). Please tell me if this new feature is well implemented for you (Volker did it). I am referring to the index to all timetables. Please let me know asap, because I plan a release tomorrow.

Thanks for the rapid response. I tested the implementation of the index page and it looks very good. Much better than the "quick and dirty" php solution that I posted.
One remark: there appears to be no translation. I already noticed before that a lot of text appears in English (our official language is Dutch) which is not really a problem here since Aruba (that's where I live) is multi linguistic and this issue is more a cosmetic issue to me. If I have some time left I'll see if I can contribute to the Dutch translation of FET.

OK.

If you could contribute input files for testing or inclusion into FET, you would help me.
