Title: Constraint delete button
Post by: ngoctp29121982 on December 12, 2023, 03:46:23 PM
Hello Liviu!
I have been using FET for a long time and I find that FET is great for schools in terms of timetables
I've been using version 6.11 guys Added option in dialog to add time/space constraints for teacher(s), so you can now add individual constraints for each teacher only with one click
I think having the option in the dialog box to remove time/space constraints for the teacher(s), so that you can now add individual constraints for each teacher with just one click would be great. Great

Do you mean "remove", not "add"?

If yes, couldn't you go in the All time/space constraints dialog, apply a filter, and remove the listed constraints there?

Go to the first box of all time/space constraints, apply a filter and delete the constraints listed there. I was able to delete them, but it took time to filter and so it wouldn't be organized for 1 teacher constraints

Hello, ngo,

I thought about it. I am reluctant to add it, because:

1) It is risky, the user might remove by mistake;

2) Many possible further suggestions are available: delete all but one, activate/deactivate one/more;

3) In the All time/space constraints, you have many nice features: you can filter with an advanced filter, and it is not very difficult (as you say). Also, you can see them sorted, and in this sorted order the envisaged constraints should come one after the other. You can deactivate all of them, or remove a selection. It is much better here.

I will add for now your suggestion in the TODO, and think about it. Other users, what do you say?

Allows you to delete part or all of it with one click, thus making the teacher's time/space constraints more complete.

This is quite complicated. I will add it in the TODO.
