Hello respected sir
Is it possible that , in 6 days timetable , slots of activities having 6 lectures per week remain fixed all days , while slots of activities having lectures 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 per week may change?
Hello,
You need to add a constraint activities same starting hour (any days) for each group of 6 lectures.
Bundles of thanks sir
You are welcome! Please call me Liviu :)
Liviu! One more question
A teacher have 18 lectures per week ( 6days week) , is it any constraints available that fix 3/equal lectures per day ?
It seems that you need to combine two constraints for this teacher:
Min days per week (=6) + Max hours daily (=3).
Vangelis.
Hm....
A correction:
It seems that just the 2nd constraint (max hours daily = 3) is enough. For a six days week, if a teacher has max hours daily = 3, FET is going to place exactly 3 hours for each one of the six days for this teacher. So, the 1st constraint (min days) is not needed.
Vangelis.
Thank you, Vangelis!
Thank you
In 6 days weekly Timetable ,
An activity have 3 days per week , time slots must be remain same (by using constraint an activity same starting any hours (any day)) , however they may gap between days automatically. how it is possible?
is there any this type of software available for (fee record , report card etc)?
If you want no gaps between the days, max 2 days between the 3 (sub)activities. If you want gaps, a combination of min 1 or 2 days between activities.
About the other questions, Volker or others might answer better.
after adding activities , a constraint minimum days between activities is automatically added for all added activites , what does it mean ?
Min 1 days 100% means any pair won't be on the same day. Min 2 days 100% means any pair will be 2 days apart (have 1 free day between them). 95% means that the constraint may be broken.
You can modify or add such a min days between activities constraint for any activities, from the constraints' dialog.
If i share fet file of my timetable, then
Will you guide me what is the mistake which i make ?
345 activities placed out of 348. Then stop
OK, I can try a bit. If your file is public, attach it here (archived if it is too large). If your file is private, send it to me by email (see my personal page for my address, or the FET Contacts page).
I sent you an email with my tries. I hope you'll find the problem. If not, I'll try to help some more.
As a personal plea, please consider that FET is completely free software, only sustained by benevolent donations, so it would be great if you/your institution could help with a donation.
