I love the new updates.Good job.I wish to ask whether its possible not to have comments in italic as the default style.I use comments to indicate teachers longnames and their office.
Hmm... :( I hoped users would like the Italics font for comments. Is Italics that bad?
You can edit the CSS, removing the line with "italic". Unfortunately, you need to edit each time after you generate, and you can do this only in HTML, not when printing from the interface.
However, another solution is to take advantage of the recent feature (introduced in version 6.22.3) to print the teachers' legend. This will print below the table all about the used teacher(s). Could you please try and tell me what you think? You can enable the legend in the Settings -> Timetables -> Data to print in timetables, separately for each kind of timetable.
Please let me know.
Italic ain't a big problem. Its just that as for me,it serves a major purpose of identification. How i wish it was in bold 🫣🫣🫣. Remember we did get comment there to solve the issue of using longname leading to teachers timetables having other teacher's names more so if they are in block.Comment aspect is of great essence.
OK, if you strongly suggest, we'll remove the italic feature. But I think we cannot make it bold.
@Volker Dirr , what do you think?
But Cyrus, please tell me, did you see the legend option? If you enable the legend, you get under each table the list of all the teachers who appear in that table: name - long name - code - comments. I think it is exactly what you need. If you want, I can show you a screenshot.
If you can use this legend instead of the comments at the beginning of the table, we could leave the comments at the beginning of the table in italics (the legend is not italic!).
hmm... Not sure. I think this is not a question of right or wrong. It is a design question. Some guys like red color, some green color, some blue color, some bold, some italic, some larger font, some smaller font, ...
Cyrus, please see the attached screenshot. If you can use this, we can keep the comments italic. Otherwise, we'll make them normal. Please let me know.
