Title: Activity setting
Post by: Prabhash Paudel on March 13, 2025, 02:42:13 PM
Is there a way to set the activities so that the first period of all days will have same teacher in each class?

I am not sure I understand. Could you make a picture and explain more? Maybe also give your fet file.

This is the example. There (1 - 6) means Sunday to Friday. (1,3,5) means Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday. 2,4,6 means Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Oh, I think I understand (maybe that was my initial understanding, as well).

There is no such feature in FET, currently.

Maybe either a customization just for your case or, if the feature is useful for more users, a new more general constraint, maybe: "In a set of selected time slots, all activities must have at least a common activity tag (maybe from a set of selected approved tags?), for students (set)/teacher(s)".

Thank you for the response of my concern. In our school there will be class teachers for every classes and the class teachers will have their classes in first period throughout the week. If the feature of class teachers is available then that will be beneficial for other users also.

If you know the exact activities which should be in the first hour on each day, couldn't you simply use activity/ies preferred starting time(s) constraints?

I got the solution myself. In activities setting, " A set of activities begin students day" solved the problem
