HI guys
I have been trying to create a timetable for a while. I have followed several tutorials, and now I am stuck.
Is this input file solvable or not?
I have no idea what I have done wrong.
I have tried placing classes in blocks. It has not been successful.
The problem is mostly with elective subjects.
Without student data as subgroups, the files solve very well. once i add elective and non-elective data, it does not solve for over 3 hours
I need all the help i can get

I obtained a very small file which is still impossible (I kept on removing data from your file). You need to search for the error in this file. The file is attached to my post.
You can see that the file is impossible in the first seconds, there is no need to wait 3 hours.

I finally figured out my mistake.
I was providing to much data to sub groups in a effort to separate overlapping classes.
I changed my approach to match the recommended process of only keeping one subgroup of a specific type and the generation was successful.
I still have a long way to go but I am making progress.
