Title: A teacher works in an hourly interval a minimum number of days per week
Post by: xtzetzias on September 20, 2025, 07:43:57 AM
Good morning!
I would like to implement a restriction whom i would call "A teacher works in an hourly interval a minimum number of days per week". It would work as the "A teacher works in an hourly interval a maximum number of days per week", only it would force the teacher work a minimum days instead of preventing him/her. Is there a combination of existing rules i could use? Cannot think of any.
What i'm trying to do is force a teacher teach first hour at least 3 days per week.
The "Max single gaps in selected time slots for a teacher" rule, is close to what i need, but it seems the first empty hours are not considered as gaps.
I start developing a feeling that in terms of time schedule, strange things happen in Greek schools :-)

Good morning!

For each teacher, a constraint activities occupy min time slots from selection.

Oh, I see... Thanks Liviu! I was looking at the teachers' constraints only. Never crossed my mind to look at the activities' constraints. Nice and easy.
