Title: Help please StElTo
Post by: user error on January 13, 2026, 10:56:23 AM
Hi all,

one of our teachers had timetables created in Staito and was given a new laptop. So we copied the main Steito folder from the old laptop on to One drive. From there on to C drive of the new laptop BUT the timetables that were created on old laptop cannot be found on the OneDrive nor the original laptop? Where are the timetables stored. Are they in form of .csv file or?

Hope I am being clear
Thank you

J

Are you talking about the StElTo database?
If you didn't change the name or location, by default it is in your home directory -> StElTo -> File "database.dat".

If you talk about the location with the exported StElTo files, then please use the old laptop and check StElTo -> Export -> Select Export Directory.
Or search for the following directory names:
"Export-StElTo (text)"
"Export-StElTo (csv)"
"Export-Kurs42"
"Export-FET"

The timetable itself is probably done with FET, since StElTo do "only" the lines/blocks; but not the timetable "itself".

Please don't forget that StElTo is commercial. If you still use the trial version, please think about register StElTo. Just write me a mail to "u6m4@timetabling.de"
