Please double check the FetMainForm_template translation, check each item (you can open 2 FET's in parallel, one in English and one in Greek). It is highly critical to have this correctly translated.

Then, let me know if you started the translation from zero or continued the translation from the old one (so I know, I'll only add you to the Greek translation credits, or also keep the old translator).

What name should I add for you, and what e-mail address? Or should I add only your user name here on forum? I mean in the Greek translator credits.

Please send the current translation file to me, preferably by e-mail (and you can also reply to the above questions by e-mail, I can say that I prefer the e-mail method for direct communication). I'll add it to the current FET version on my hard disk (if it corresponds, which it probably does), and it will come in the next FET version.

The link you sent, labschool.eu, has something related to FET? Where? (I am interested).

Later edit: so, since the old Greek translator abandoned work a long time ago, labschool is the new official Greek translator.

I am checking line by line the old file translation and make changes, that they have came in 80-90% of the old file.

Some words cannot be translated precisely because they can confuse the user.
eg Activities -> translation Δραστηριότητες (not Εργασίες) but Διδασκαλίες (Teachings)

Are you thinking the creation of a unity in the forum with Greek support?

The labschool is a non-commercial site (without ads) about the school in Greece. The labschool will have the guide use of the FET in Greek.

OK, please tell me if the Greek board name and title is good.

Also, I am thinking of this: the user name (labschool, for example) and name (Dimitris Kanatas) are different. The user name never changes, but the name may change. Should I add your name (Dimitris Kanatas) AND your user name (labschool)? This concerns also other translators - I am not sure of the best way to add this information. For the moment, I added only the name.

3) The translation will be ready in Sunday with an extra sample file   :)

For the sample file, make sure it does not contain copyrighted/private/secret information. The best is maybe to ask the director of the institution for permission and also to change the names of the teachers (and of students sets, if they are not generic), because some teachers might object of having their name public.

Also, for the sample, tell me in which directory I should place it (in examples/Greece/, but tell me the city maybe - or see the other Greek
samples).

Edited to add: and maybe change the institution name in the file, to a generic one or to a fictive one.

Hi, I`m sending you the first version of the file (ver. 2010.1 - 5315/7640). I will continue the translation of the program. If you're ready for a new version of FET then ask a new translation file. I`m expecting comments. The sample file i will send you later.

I will answer you by e-mail (it is the preferred communication in case of translations). I'll send you an updated translation file, please wait for it and work on it, because I modified some minor fields.

I updated your file to 5.17.0-snapshot, it is attached, I hope you can translate the two minor fields in FetMainForm_template ("Print" and "Ctrl+P") and send me the updated file today, because 5.17.0 will be released tomorrow, hopefully. So the main form will have all fields in Greek.

There is also a new minor field in HelpAboutForm_template, "About".

The new file is ready...  :)

I added it, but made a small correction: "Ctrl+P" was "Ctrl + K", it is now "Ctrl+K" (without two spaces around '+'). I attach the corrected file.
