oh thank you so much. i was supposed to get this done until monday, and i am totally stuck. i counted again and my class 1, which i think is also subgroup 1, has 20 hours of activities, not 21, i think.

i always get the same error message when trying to calculate the timetable:

"Cannot optimize for subgroup 1 Automatic Group Automatic Subgroup, because the number of hours for subgroup is 21 and you have only 20 free slots from constraints students set not available and/or break. Maybe you inputted wrong constraints students set not available or break or the number of hours per week is less because of a misunderstanding"

i do not understand what i have done wrong. one thing i do not understand: what is the difference between groups and automatic subgroups, and where do they come from? all classes i have are listed as groups AND subgroups, and that happened automatically, but this separation doesn't tell me anything.

does anyone have an idea on what to change and where my mistake could be? thanks a lot for helping me out.
