Thanks for your answer.

I my school, physics, geography, history and biology happens only on tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays. Others happens only on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. But physics and history alternate saturdays with geography and biology, the students go to school every saturday to study either physics and history or geography and biology.

A physics teacher teaches each group of 30 students 4 times a week. May be a double class on tuesday and a double class on thursday, every week, completing 4. But, for an other group of 30 students,  could be a double class on tuesday, a single class on thursday and a double class every other saturday, so one week with 3 classes and the other with 5, completing (average) 4 classes a week. It is similar with history etc.

I would like Fet to chosoe freely between those two possibilities for each group of students and for each teacher.  How can I do that?

I have a similar problem. I have teachers who teach in one saturday and teachers who teach in the other. So the students have physics and biology one saturday and geografy and history in the other saturday.

Get Help / year, group and subgroups
January 09, 2010, 01:26:12 PM
I've just installed FET and I'm a bit confused. In my school the students are divided into 3 periods: morning period, afternoon period and night period. Morning and afternoon periods have 7 levels (from 11 years old to 17 years old), night period have only the last 3 levels. Each level have 3 (sometimes 2) classes (groups of about 30 students that are together in the same room). Should period be what FET calls "year" and levels be the what FET calls "groups" and classes be what FET calls "subgroups"?

Another problem, sometimes classes are divided into two, half have arts and the other half have music. Again sometimes the classes are divided into two and half have french and half have spanish. How do I do that?
