I try to work with the hebrew translation and I have some first remarks:
1. thanks.
2. because hebrew is written from right to left there are some windows that open with the e-relevant information, i.e. straighten to the wrong = left direction. where did I saw it?  at TIME   TEACHER   TEACHER'S NOT AVAILABLE TIME   in the window of teacher's constaints.
I already saw it doesnt happen everywhere (when adding or modifying activities the window do straighten to the right direction).
3. Yotam - we will need to talk about some of the translations...
4. I guess an unexpected problem will be user's vocabulary. for me, as a new user that is not acquainted with computers, it was much easier to explain and understand the forum thanks to the labels in english. once I dont understand what 'generate' 'constraints' and 'time slot' mean the use of FET might be very frustrating.

I didnt understand how to use the tag (I inserted them,but didnt know what to do next...) so what I did is to select all the teachers into that activity, then they wouldnt be able to do anything else that time (I hope it wont prevent the next timetable generate...)

I want to have a time slot with an activity for all students and teachers at school. I need this activity to appear in the timetables of all teachers and subgroups, and not to allow any other activity at this time slot.

If I give the two activities same starting time, it will be as if I schedual them myself in the timetable. I was looking for a sole constraint = activity A need to bo parallel to activity B.

is it possible to schedual two different activities (of different teachers), on the same time spot? how?

Thanks. That was what I did before, but since in this generation I suddenly have several activities that I need to change their split categories I thought and hoped there is another way, more simple and elegant.

Many times after I enter an activity and try to return to it after a while and modify it, it gets locked...
It disturbs me most when I try to split the activity, but the remark is that it cannot be changed.
How can I unlock (it is written to 'remove the corresponding activity' but I dont understand which activity...)

there cannot be 2 break constraints during the week (one on sunday and anotheron friday)?

but the activity doesnt have a prefered starting time (I didnt give one, and when I checked after generating it still doesnt have this constraint). yet, if i try to change the time slot the activity was inserted to (as you advised me yesterday about an other time slot, and yesterday I also had to delete the activity, make the break and then write the activity again) I get the message that "constraint not added -there must be an other contraint of this type..."

I have the feeling that after I generate the information I already have, the data gets stuck...
Activities that I didnt give a preferred time slot 'gain control' over that slot, and if I want to change its designation I find it very hard (I need to delete the activity and write it again).
how can I release the data again?

in different time slots during the week we have the same activity (like class gathering or prayer) that needs a teacher presence. I have two teachers that might attend, and I want FET to decide on each day which teacher will attend. is it possible?

in our school friday is shorter than other week days. how should this be specified?

after 24 hours of gloomliness, I tried the trick that was written in the 'help' window when I generate... to reduce some of the students or even cancel the activities that the program get stuck in...
it worked, but I guess if FET would be able to point on the weak places or suggest what causes the 'short circuit' it would help.
