Can I ask something please, I am doing the University program of an engineering faculty. Let's say I am an industrial engineer and I take a compulsory course at 12:00. Since I can take a course in computer engineering, I took an computer engineering course at 12:00 the same,so basically common day and hour. Normally It should not give any errors, but it does. When entering the courses, the program does not ask whether this course is compulsory or computer. I have two overlapping courses and I defined the computer course as industrial engineering, but ultimately the computer engineering course is an elective for me. So when the courses overlap, the program should not fail. But this is because the course is perceived as an industrial engineering course.

Unfortunately, the program perceives the elective courses as compulsory and does not overlap the courses. The program cannot make the program because the courses overlap, but there is no problem when they overlap normally. How can I solve this problem. If the constraint is to be celebrated, which one should I use?

Hi Liviu,I have a little problem.Could you help me.There is a teacher named "Abdussamet SUBAŞI". This teacher has 2 different classes. I want to activate all of these 2 lessons on Wednesday (sameday(each lecture have 2 sprint)). Therefore, I marked all days as "not available" except Wednesday. I just want to for this teacher,all lecture must be one day.I try to max 1 day,ı try to just available wednesday.. but what ever i do,it doesnt work.
But I am getting an error like this.

First of all thank a lot your help,i try to improve my schedule , i'm a little frozen.For this University there are 5 departments.And some lecture is "common"(same day,same hour),For example "Intro.to programming".For two department is in same activity,shortly.The activity is the same time and day for both departments,i did but boths  written to same box civil engineering in the Industrial engineer's schedule. If you look the table its like (1st Industrial Engineering, 1st Civil Engineering) for 1st Industrial Engineering Automatic Subgroup.

It seems like the easiest way, but it didn't seem right. I mean, it would be better for an industrial engineer to write only the name of the course and the instructor in his 1st year program. Likewise, it seems to me that it would be better for a computer engineer not to write it in his 1st year program. I'm not sure,I'm trying to think and design the constraints in my mind,but I couldn't. if you can help I would really appreciate it.

I checked file which is fixed you.But i'do same thing, i mean same day  2+1 (Time constraints:Others1,same starting day) but its' give me error.(27 out of 35 activities placed)

Second quesiton is i writed other departments with by Groups.I wanna do same thing other departments.Am i going right?In addition to do this we have a same lecture (same activities) for example "General chemistry".All departments do lecture in same day and same time.its common.How can i do this.

I continue to schedule the syllabus. But I have a little problem.
"In the 2nd year, I want to assign an "Intro.to Modelling&Optimization" course to our professor "Hakan Tozan" 

What I want is to make the total 3-hour which is be 2+1. I did this, but the lesson has to be on the same day.
At first, I thought this would happen by setting (on activities) min day=1, but he assigned the other part of the lesson to another day. What should I do for this? Should I use the constraints,if I,how. couldn't solve it. Could you help me please?

Could i ask question,I try to my department just 1st year schedule.And some teacher like "Selim Akyokuş" 3 hours make a single whole.Thats way i said split 3.For intro to programming its works but i try to advanced programming for same person(selim akyokuş) it doesnt work.There are many times,why it doesnt work

I want to learn something,i need to schedule university lecture planning and before that FET ask me "Please select mode for new file" Should i select "block pllaning" or ?

My second question is when go add activity  there is a "split" which can 1,2,3,4 and left side "duration".What is it ?It's something lecture break ?
