General Stuff / Re: Print out all the rules

Thanks for the idea.  I renamed the .fet file to .xml, and opened it, and printed it out, all 239 pages.  Not very readable, but at least a starter for the process.  Some reports would make it readable and a lot shorter, but at least I have something useful.

General Stuff / Print out all the rules
May 23, 2012, 02:24:24 AM
Hi,

I need to print out all the rules and constraints to document the settings to supply to another system, and for peer review.  Staff availability, activities, room allocation rules, not-overlapping activity selections - everything!
Is there any way to do this?
If not, another web report that details all these settings would be ideal.

My allocations are becoming complex, and the solution took around 11 hours to find....excellent product.

Hi,

We have a set of lab rooms with PCs that use VMware and hold local configurations for the students.  So for a course, the student must come back to the same room for each of their lab sessions.

I have created Lab tagged Activities that go into any one of a set of lab rooms fine, BUT when a task is split, I need each of the activities to use the SAME room - whichever it was.  With large numbers of students I cannot just allocate that entire course to use just one lab, it would be too full, and any manual sub-allocation of rooms will create some unfortunate issues later on.

Is there any way to get this to work cleanly?

Otherwise - great product!
