I think that the "comment" shud be in the correct place  -----> in the "Contraints room not evailable times" because in the actual place it will be very difficult to find the contraint (I have 232 in all) !

I sent 2 examples using FET at Batna University (Algeria) and now this is a modified timetable adapted for the Exams.
The example is very simple and show how we can use FET for a period (say 2 weeks) of exams.
The same example can be used to organize the presentations of the sudents final projects.

We have always a big constraints on rooms.
I lock for example a room (Constraints room not available times) for some one. But after certain time, I forget why I locked this room !!
So I suggest that if you can add a "text zone" for those ho want to explain why the room is locked. This will be a good addition to your great work.

At the beginning, FET works normally with a certain number of constraints and the timetable is automatically generated.
Once the number of constraints was augmented, I do not succeed in having an allowable resolution. I therefore fixed a certain number of constraints and eliminated the others then I supplemented manually to satisfy everybody.

So you can now remove this locked times. This will not affect the final time table.

Sorry, I don't understund because All the activities are unlocked  "Active" in FET ! The files I sent you are able to generate the time table with all the activities. I just try it and all be fine !

Can you tell me an example of an activity wich is permanently locked ? perhaps I don't understund the question ! Sorry.

yes, you can add the file and the attached file also (the second semester of 2012-2013 year).

I think that you can put them in a new folder "Algeria" and a subdirectory "Mechanical Department of Batna University".
