I don't know  anything about macOS, but a quick search suggested that you might need to set CMAKE_OSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET appropriately.

I suspect this is it, and I've set it to 13 in the latest FET version (7.7.5). I don't want to rule anything out unnecessarily, but I got some warnings when compiling for versions below 13.0. Hope this helps!

Hi! I am getting an error "You can't use this version of the application "fet.app" with this version of macOS." with version 7.7.4. For reference, I am on an M4 running 15.7.3 (24G419). Version 7.5.3 runs fine, I was just trying to update. Thanks for all of your work on this!

Hmmm... I can't think of any reason why the latest version wouldn't run on 15.7.3, but all my machines are on Tahoe (with the new numbering, that's 26.2), so I can't test it myself. I've got some older (but still very recent) versions of FET that could be downloaded, and I've included links below.

Hi Volker, yes — after compilation, copying the .qm files to the usual location as a final step worked as before.

Hi Liviu, I've just tested compiling the most recent version using CMake on macOS, and it looks like everything has worked (though I haven't done any very extensive testing).
