Max gaps between activities

The user karim suggested me a new constraint, max gaps between a set of activities. How to care about this? Force the activities to be in the same day, or only take care of the constraint if the activities are in the same day?

I do not imagine in what scenario it may be used. An example?

i also can't see an scenario where it can be usefull. in my opinion all other already existing "gap" constraints cover all senarios. but maybe give us simple example.
