Hi
I have just started using FET and find it very useful. So far I have created activities, imposed constraints et attribute activities to students.
Related to the last point (attributing activities to students), I was wondering whether, instead of manually imposing an activity to a student, it would be possible, during generation of a timetable, to "ask" FET to select an activity, among identical activities, and attribute it to a student.
In other words, let's think of a situation with 10 identical activities of the same subject, i.e. biology. The student should be attributed one of these activities the only criteria being he is free and that activity fits well in his personal schedule.
I'm not sure I'm clear enough.....but whoever would give me a hint, that will be enormously appreciated.

This is not possible directly. FET was created to schedule only exactly specified activities. Normally, you need to choose by yourself the activities for each students set (or individual student) and teacher.

You may use tricks, like considering a real student = a FET room, and schedule FET activities = real activities to FET rooms = real students.

Thanks for the suggestion.
The difficulty I see is that you might attribute two identical activities to the same student (= FET room)....

Constrain all identical activities to be at the same time. A single FET room can hold a single activity at a certain time slot.

I am not sure what you need and if this helps you, but it might be a working trick.
