New user - basic question

I have a group of 40 students for an activity but the class rooms will hold only 25 students. Will FET automatically split the activity to 2 activities to fit into the class room size?  :-?

No, you have to split them by yourself. Each activity is well defined and will contain all students which are put into it by you, when you add or modify that activity from the Data menu. When you start generation, FET will tell you that it is impossible to put this activity (which has 40 students) into a room (if all rooms have maximum capacity 25).
