Prevent som activities from allocating in specific time slots

Hello,
What i want to do is to prevent some subjects or a set of activities from allocating in a specific time slot.
Taking in consideration that this period is only available for  one specific course.

How can i do that ??

One more question if you please.
I have 10 activities for the same subject and i need to prevent those activities to be placed in a specific time slot, also i need to set some of those activities in an exact time slot.
So, will there be a problem or a conflict if i used "preferred starting times" constraint to solve my issue and used "preferred time slots" constraint to set some of the activities in an exact time slot !!

There are several variants how to do that.

for example:

1. variant:

use FET -> Data -> Time constraints -> Activities -> A set of activities has a set of preffered starting times
and allow both slots: the "specific time slot" and "exact time slot".
use "an activity has preffered starting time" for the "exact time slot"-activities

2. variant:
set an activity tag for the "specific time slot"-activities and/or the  "exact time slot"-activities.
now you can set different constraints for them. depending on the activity tag.
