Best Practices for Universities

Dear all,
I would like to use FET for my University. We have 7 years, students are divided in 15 speciality (management, finance, economics, ...) and each speciality, for each years, as a number of courses. Which is the the best way to use years (form, classes), groups and subgroups?

If you have non-overlapping years and groups, then probably you can use 7 years, groups as management, finance, economics, ..., and the specialty as subgroups.
