Manually swap activities

Hi, I would like to manually swap scheduled activities as per the personal convenience of two faculties teaching the same group of students on different days

eg>
Activity: 310 - 1/3 -Teacher1 - COMP - (L) - ECE A - 60 scheduld on Monday at 8:30 AM in L1

needs to be swapped with
Activity: 520 - 1/4 - Teacher2 - BECE - (L) - ECE A - 60 scheduled on Tuesday at 11:30 AM in L2

How to do this without affecting the entire timetable.

Use the locked timetable. In the all time/space constraints dialog or the activity preferred starting time/room, modify the values for activities ids 310 and 520. Then generate again.

I took a simple example with 22 events. It is like I need to swap
Activity-1 - teacher-R on Thursday at 8:30 in Room-102 with
Activity -10 - teacher-L on Monday at 14:40 in Room-103.

So, I modified all time constraints for Activity -1 and Activity -10 and all space constraints for Activity-1 and Activity-10.

Now, the timetable is not getting generated. Where did I make a mistake in swapping the Subject+Teacher?. I am attaching the fet file without editing.

Hmm, I am a bit tired, I am not sure I understand correctly. If you want to swap the activities in the timetable, you need to modify the locking constraints (as in my previous post). If you need to swap some data inside the activities (the teachers), you need to modify the activities (or subactivities - if you only want for the subcomponent ids 1 and 10 - there is a menu item "Modify subactivities").

It is like teacher R will be going to teacher L's class and teaching their own subjects as the students are same. So the subjects along with teachers get swapped.

Yes, I think you need to go to the subactivities dialog and modify subactivities with ids 1 and 10. I attach what I did.

So, you have only 22 activities in your institution, or this is just a small part?

This is just an example (dummy). I understand the reason why I am not able to swap by changing the time and space constraints. When we swap 1 & 10, on Monday teacher-R will have two lectures of the same course (which is not allowed as there is an additional constraint of the minimum 1-day gap between split activities).
