Automatic Sustitution Generation

Hi,
Can we get a feature so that after adding the absent teachers for a day. All substitutions are automatically set & we suggest get an option to Confirm or change & then proceed. If such an option already exists , please elaborate the steps.
Also, the selection of teachers for substitution shall be based on a constraint .. For example: if the total allotted weekly load for a teacher is say 32 periods / week now such a teacher should be assigned max. of 4 substitutions... for max engagement of teachers to be 36 (max) [ it can be any value].

Thus, those whose total engagement gets over the threshold value (say 36), his/her name should not popup as an option for substitution unless there is no other option.

One more thing... is TiTiTo a freeware or trialware???

Thank you for suggesting. You need to select manually at the moment.

I will think about an automatic variant. The problem is that i know different schools with diferent ways of selecting teachers. So if i need to add a complex algorithm for that.
i know schools with very different rules. For example they care about (in different order) about stuff like this:
- number of substituted hours (you can see that numbers already now in the table, but not for the present day or future, only for the past days).
- teachers with same subject.
- teachers that teach the same students in an other subject
- close teachers (teacher next room).
- teachers who were ill the last month.
- teachers who didn't teached the last days, because their students were on a school trip
- ...
There are also several special rules like:
don't select the headmaster, don't select the trainee teacher, don't select the handicaped teacher, ...

so it is very difficult to care about all that rules automaticly.

I will think about that, but i will take some time. I am currently coding on a students election software.



TiTiTo is sadly no freeware. It is trialware. I can't offer it for free. There are no commercials involved. There is a "waring" in the right bottom corner, a "waring" on a few pages if you print, a "waring" if you schedule manualy and a very few export files a limited. (For example not all teachers will be exported if you do an ical export).
You can test all other stuff without limitation.

Does that mean that we cannot use TiTiTo for actual application as it is a trial ware & only for evaluation?

Also, as u mentioned about different variants of constraints while picking up the substitution .. I completely agree...
But, as I suggested you it should only be suggestive & the choices so reflected are changeable.
The moderator may or may not change some or all of them.

I wrote it into (automatic selection) my TODO. I am currently coding some other stuff, so it will take some time.

TiTiTo is trial ware. So you can use it for evaluation. I think 1 month is a fair test time. Technically there is no limit; i hope the users will be fair and register/buy after 1 month if they still want to use it.

What is it's licence cost? For TITITO
& MODE OF PAYMENT AVAILABLE WITH YOU?
also, the kind of licence is it one time or recurring?
Single user/ multi user?

There is only a very low number of customers in this business, so I can't offer TiTiTo cheap. But i think you know prices from companies like gp-Untis and others. I will take much lower prices then they. I decided to do it like some of my business competitors. The exact price is calculated by:
- max number of teachers at your school (in the FET timetable). Limits are 50, 100, 200, 400, unlimited teachers.
- requested features:
Basic stuff is supervision planning, activities planning, "Convert" stuff (except iCal) and "Export" stuff.
Optional is:
a) iCal export
b) substitution planning and print substitution planning on paper
c) file upload / ftp upload of substitution planning. (So this is needed only if you need the html files. You need internet connection for upload feature.)

You will get a license then. (The school address will be visible at the top right corner of the paper if you print substitution planning.) The license is not transferable to an other school.
There is no time limit. You will be always allowed to use the license at your school.
There is no limit of installations. TiTiTo is a multi user software. So the whole staff of your school is allowed to use the software. (So it doesn't change the price if only one staff member use it or if all members use it.)
Updates are free. You don't need to buy updates. Only if i will add big new features in later versions, then these new features might be locked (But of course can be unlocked by purchasing an update). There is currently no plan for such a big new feature.

Please test TiTiTo carefully first. Please check if all needed stuff is possible.
Is there a critical warning (except of the license) if you start TiTiTo?

So far i have calculated only the European prices. But it sound like you are not from Europe. I give a discount if your school is located in a country with lower economic potential.

You can get a discount if your school expire in the next 6 years. (So if your government desired to close your school in 6 years (or earlier). Please give me a prove of that if you have that problem.)
