Manual Adjustment

Hi

Lets say I have a fully generated time table.
However Teacher A and Teacher B could like to have a manual for some reasons such as the teaching load more spread out over the week.

Am I able to do manual adjustment and then print the new time table?

With FET:
Load file from fet results folder.
Generate table.
Modify activity preffered time constraint.
Modify activity preffered space constraint.
Maybe disable conflicting constraints.
Generate table again.

or:
Use TiTiTo:

Have a look at this 2 short videos. You can see that is is not too difficult to swap.
The first sample was done with an old TiTiTo version. It shows how to import a timetable and how to swap activities. As you can see it might be problematic to swap if the is for example a room conflict. But even with those conflicts you can swap now. You can see that in the other video.
If there is no conflict you only need to double click and select a free slot.

Thks for the response.

These manual swapping are usually after time table has been issued to teachers and students.
We cannot generate as other lessons may be affected.

I suppose the only way is to use TITITO?

If you load fet from the results folder, then all activities are locked in time and room!
So it is possible with FET, but it is a bit "complicated".
It is much easier to swap with TiTiTo.

I have a TT slotted in 524/528.
If I stop the process now, am I able see which are the 4 activities that are not slotted in?

Stop (highest or current, probably better highest, so you can view the 524 placed activities in the timetable), and view the initial order of placing the activities. The last 4 are not placed.
