What does the FET shortcut mean?

I'm just curious what does the FET shortcut stands for?

Until 2007, FET used a genetic / evolutionary algorithm and it meant "Free Evolutionary Timetabling". Now the 'E' in the middle can stand for anything appropriate, maybe "Educational".
