efectively assign students to given room

I'd like a group of students to have most of its activities in a given room (max 2). I tried to assign a preferred room for activities, setting a room as home room for this group, but timetables are not satisfactory. I mean this group is allocated to other rooms too. What should I do?

I sadly don't understand your problem. Home rooms should work correct. Did you set weight up to 100%?

Sure it was set to 100%. It began working after I had used subject+tag preferred room.
May it be the matter of constraint introducing order? Preferred room for a group worked for me too previously. As I remind I've set this constraint at the beginning of schedule building.

Home room constraints are only used by the activities if no other room constraints refer to that activity.
