Good day,

Is there a way to temporarily disable some activities without deleting them? I have a timetable that doesn't want to build. I don't have any constraints - not even rooms, apart from the normal days between activities constraints. I want to remove some activities temporarily to see where the problem lies. Can I disable an activity like you can disable a constraint? I gets to about 85% of the activities and then just hovers up and down there.

Or is the best way to make a backup, delete some things and then go back to the backup?

Thank you,
Adele

Its a bit depending on how many activities you want to disable.

If i am serching a bug and there might be many activities, i just save with a different name and remove activities.

If i know that there are only a few activities to diable, then i "modify" the activity and uncheck the "active" flag.

I am not sure: Maybe as an TODO: Enable/Disabke activities in FET->Data->Activities and FET->Data->subactivities similar to enable/disable constraints in FET->Data->Constraints

Thank you Volker and Liviu. I didn't know about the active flag, so going to try that. I've been saving as a different name/version. Thanks again.
