Hello!
can we avoid consecutive gaps in teachers' timetables?  this happens when we set max gaps greater than 1 ?

Instead of max gaps per week = 4 add 4 dummy activities with tag AT and then activity tag AT max 1 hours continuously.

You're welcome!

PS: Make max gaps per week = 0.

PS: but the use of such activities may lead to unwanted results;  such as seeing a real activity adjacent to a dummy activity or even more?
such results are unacceptable in schools which have the day separated into 2 half days; mornings and afternoons!

I do not understand: instead of 4 gaps, you have 4 dummy activities, which cannot be consecutive in a FET (half) day.

Benahmed Abdelkrim

Yes, But this does not prevent seeing a single real activity with a dummy activity or more in half day, so do not forget that the constraint Min hours in FET half day is set to 2.(FET morning/afternoon mode)

Indeed. A solution is to get the custom version I just made from https://lalescu.ro/liviu/fet/forum/index.php?topic=4884.msg27146#msg27146 , and add a tag "Real" to all real activities, min 2 per day with this tag.

But it is too complicated.

Benahmed Abdelkrim

Indeed. It's too complicated.  😥😢

I suppose max 1 gaps per day should do it, practically.

Benahmed Abdelkrim

No new constraint needed.  Max 1 gaps in real days does the work required.  I forgot to use it.
Thanks again dear Liviu 🙂
